Operation Modes
As the seasons change and the weather improves, there may be times that you only need your boiler to provide domestic hot water. You can adjust the settings of your Vogue Gen2 depending on whether or not you need it to supply central heating by following these steps:
Central Heating and Domestic Hot Water
This boiler’s standard operating mode will supply heat to your home’s radiators on demand. If central heating and domestic hot water are needed at the same time, the Vogue Gen2 will prioritise making sure hot water is available for your taps and showers.
Domestic Hot Water Only
If you only require your boiler to provide domestic hot water, you can activate this mode easily by turning the Central Heating temperature control knob (E) to ‘off’.
Weather Compensation
When the Vogue Gen2 is equipped with a Weather Compensation Kit, you will be able to control room temperature using the Central Heating Temperature Control knob (E). By rotating the knob clockwise you’ll increase room temperature, while turning it counterclockwise will make the room temperature cooler.
Once you’ve found the perfect room temperature, leave the knob in this position. The system will automatically keep the same room temperature, no matter what the weather is like outside.
Low Water Pressure
You can check the pressure of your central heating system using the pressure gauge on your boiler controls (G). In the event that the pressure falls below the original installation pressure (1.0 & 1.5 bar), head to page 10 of the full Vogue Gen2 user guide to find instructions for re-pressurising the boiler.
If you encounter any difficulties while following those instructions or the pressure continues to drop, we recommend contacting a Gas Safe-registered engineer.
Vogue Gen2 Fault Guide
If your boiler encounters a fault, you’ll find that it displays a description of the issue along with prompts and suggestions for how to get back on the right track.

Vogue Gen2 Combi Warranty Information
All of the boilers in Ideal Heating’s Vogue range feature an 8 year warranty as standard. This can be increased to 10 years parts and labour warranty if the boiler is installed with an Ideal System Filter.
Parts and labour warranty is available when the boiler is registered within 30 days of installation and is subject to the appliance receiving an annual service. You can find out more in our terms and conditions.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To keep your boiler looking spotless, we recommend simply dusting it regularly with a dry cloth. In the case of stubborn marks and stains, try wiping it with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and finishing off with a dry cloth.
You can keep your Vogue Gen2 appliance in the best condition by registering your warranty with Ideal Heating and having it serviced at least once a year. This should always be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and will enable your boiler to work safely and efficiently for many years.
